Relaxing and excellent hotel with exceptional breakfast. Location - exceptionally nice just off river bank, a temple and turtle hatcherie around and the river right in front of the garden. Also, right next to a beautiful lake.

I tried all the activities, diving was interesting, and I almost fell off the bike. The airport is not next door, but at least I didn't have to pay for parking. Snorkeling and windsurfing are for amateurs, but I enjoyed the barbecue.
The WiFi worked so well that I couldn't escape from social media for a second.

our second stay in bentota was even better than the first! at sapara river guest, we felt like part of the family. the host couple went above and beyond, offering free tuctuc rides and bikes, delicious meals, and showing us around. their generosity and warmth made our experience unforgettable. highly recommended!
Wifi was unreliable.
